Homestead Turning creates exceptional wood products, from bowls and cutting boards, to cheese knifes and rolling pins, that are custom-designed and amazing to use.
We do this because we love to create beautiful products.

What began as a hobby has transformed into a business focused around one passion: making exceptional wood products. Homestead Turning is now a family-run business with all members involved, including three wood turners, with nearly 50 years combined experience of developing craftsmanship. Our only non-turner develops and maintains our social media presence, making ours a truly family-run entity.

We craft every quality product from the finest of wood, each with its own unique identity. Using a variety of local and exotic woods, such as curly and bird’s eye maple, cherry, flame birch, red birch, butternut, black walnut, oak, mahogany and purpleheart, we allow the wood’s natural beauty to be achieved with each piece.

Every product that we create is truly unique; no two will ever be the same. That is why we consider our products one-of-a-kind. Selecting a Homestead Turning product for your home, or a special gift for a loved one, will be truly unique and enjoyed for years to come.

Thank you for checking us out. We appreciate your business.

Sincerely,

The HT Team

Wood products are NOT dishwasher safe.

Care for all wood products (except Cutting Boards):

Gently wash your product with warm water and mild dish liquid. Immediately rinse with warm water and dry with a clean cloth. Periodically sanitize your wood product using a mixture of 3 tablespoons of vinegar to 1 cup of warm water, then rinse and dry.
